Bama Sound

"I grew up a child of the new generation of country music, but I also loved pop, rock, and R&B, and have always incorporated all of those styles into my live performances," says Cameron DuBois, and we are delighted to have her as a primary singer/songwriter in Bama Sound! While she has been laser-focused on a solo career (having released an eponymously titled EP recorded in Muscle Shoals), Cameron is an established writing, recording, and performing partner in Bama Sound.

After a career as session guitarist all over the United States, playing on #1 records in legendary Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and storied road and recording stints with The Forester Sisters and Paul Thorn, Bill Hinds has resettled in his Montgomery hometown where he now lends his playing, arranging, recording, production, and web development talents to Bama Sound.

A life-long resident of Montgomery and a successful businessman, guitarist Rick Hansen has also dedicated himself to a lifetime of songwriting and performance in bands like Bandit, Reunion 32, and Wishbone. A strong partnership with Cameron and a production/arranging relationship with Bill dating back to the 1970s ensures world-class realization of a varied and deep repertoire of original music.
