Bama Sound
The Players Behind the Sound
-

Cameron DuBois
“I grew up with the new generation of country music, but I was equally drawn to pop, rock, and R&B — and I’ve always woven all of those influences into my live performances,” says Cameron DuBois, a primary singer and songwriter in Bama Sound. Having released a self-titled EP recorded in Muscle Shoals, Cameron now brings her full creative focus — and unmistakable voice — to writing, recording, and performing as a core member of Bama Sound.

Bill Hinds
After a career as a session guitarist across the United States — playing on #1 records in legendary Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and logging storied road and recording stints with The Forester Sisters and Paul Thorn — Bill Hinds has returned to his Montgomery hometown. He now brings his playing, arranging, recording, and production instincts to Bama Sound, helping shape the band’s sound from the inside out.

Rick Hansen
A lifelong Montgomery resident and successful businessman, guitarist Rick Hansen is the founder of Bama Sound and Bama Sound Media, with a decades-long commitment to songwriting and performance in bands such as Bandit, Reunion 32, and Wishbone. His enduring creative partnership with Cameron DuBois and a production and arranging relationship with Bill Hinds dating back to the 1970s help anchor and realize Bama Sound’s varied and deeply original repertoire.

Rooted in country but shaped by pop, rock, and R&B, Cameron brings her full range into everything she sings—especially in the moments that say the most.
