The Reclusive Author

Not much is known about author Sir Carlton Lawrence. It is rumored that he was born in Bermuda and now lives somewhere in the sparsely populated Lake District located in northwestern England. He seems to spend several months of the year living alone in a modest villa in the Cumbrian Mountains, where occasionally he can be seen fishing or walking his dogs.

Whether or not he is truly a recluse, he resolutely protects his privacy and routinely declines interview requests. His known works include King of Drones, a fact-based fictional story that is interlocked with real events occurring in the current Russia-Ukraine war.

Bama Sound’s Rick Hansen spent his early childhood years with Lawrence on the island of Bermuda, and they recently reconnected to collaborate remotely on Rick’s book The Pi Kappa Phi Killer. Lawrence also offers invaluable editorial work on other literary products from Bama Sound Media.
